Music Distribution Step Level 3.b. What it is & Why?

Here at Indie Music Distribution we focus on presenting and moving final shelf ready products into the public for display and sales by all means available. We help to develop networks for product dissemination, sales techniques & methods for member project/product distribution.
At Music Distribution you will learns and set up a distribution networks using some of the techniques below.
  • Insuring the product/project meets retail ready standards. Barcode, professional artwork, spine and shrink-wrap, etc.. for store shelves.
  • The Distribution Agreement and the Release Form.
  • Data entry, encoding of music.
  • US and over seas distribution: Physical and digital independent music distributors.
  • Creating distribution channels

  • Promotion: Targeting customers. Targeting through product placement.
  • How to write and distribute Press Releases.

  • How to submit for getting broadcast radio air play & the difference between A & B stations. Getting on the "List".
  • Online: How to promote you music successfully on the internet. What equipment you need.
  • The Internet, Web site, search engines and other online means as  generating sales.
  • How to create samples.

  • Shopping Carts
  • How to take credit cards

  • Paying Royalties

  • Distribution track records as a way of gaining attention to your project/product by othe Indie distributors and Majors.
