Music Productions Step Level 5.b.

At Indie Music Productions we assist you in planning your public and private events to increase member product/project success.
You will learn how to create, manage and host an event....
  • Setting realistic goals and stating your mission.
  • Multi tasking your event. Combining Interactive, Participative and Unstructured elements.
  • Preparing to go it alone.
  • Event naming.
  • Defining the happening. Date, Time, Place & What?
  • Profits vs non profits.
  • Public event vs private.
  • Private property vs public?
  • Location, Location, Location...
  • Electricity
  • Seating and the ability to grow on demand.
  • Parking
  • Designing a budget.
  • Equipment needs. Performance related. Stage? PA? Cover, Back line and other production details.
  • Equipment needs. Attendance related.
  • Lighting
  • Personnel requirements. Paid & volunteer staff.
  • Vendors

  • Rain or shine?
  • Ticket Sales

  • You will be given general contact data & other reasonable contacts for networking within the IMA membership and other relationships as determined on a case by case basis for your particular project/product needs.

Once you have successfully completed Music Productions Step/Level 5.b., you are then ready to move onto the next appropriate Step/Level as determined by your Action Plan.
